Black belts affiliated with Moo Do sanctioned schools can earn points to qualify for National Championship title. Points are earned throughout the year at Moo Do sanctioned tournaments . At the end of the tournament season, the top 8 competitors that possess the most amount of points in their respective divisions get invited to National Championships. This is where all top eight contenders compete for the title of National Champion. National tournaments are double point tournaments for black belts. The following black belt divisions are eligible for national championship titles :
- Poomsae
- Family Poomsae
- Pairs Poomsae
- Point Sparring
- Continuous Sparring
- Weapons
All competitors must have an active Moo Do student membership and must be a part of a Moo Do Charter School.

All registrations are non-refundable. Yet, participants can request a courtesy transfer of funds to a future tournament if the request is made no later than 1 week after the tournament date. To initiate a transfer of registration, please send an email to admin@mdtkd.org.
