Tournament Rules
What are the key differences between Traditional Poomsae and Sport Poomsae divisions?
- Individual Performance: Competitors perform one at a time.
- Designated Forms: Each competitor will perform two pre-designated forms. Forms will be selected at random (based on divisions and registrations—see the additional info button for details) and shared two weeks prior to the event.
- Scoring System: Competitors receive a numeric score based on two categories:
Accuracy and Presentation. - ⚠️ Important Registration Note: Registration for Sport Poomsae will close on March 4th. There will be no door registration for this division to allow for any necessary division adjustments, as well as form selection and distribution.
- Forms will be selected from the range of poomsae in each division as noted below and will be released when registration closes.
