Mix Gender. SUMMARY:Las Vegas Heat Wave Tournament
DESCRIPTION:Registration\n\n\n\nClick the button below to register \n\n\n\n\nRegister\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJudges Information\n\n\n\nThere will be a judges meeting Friday at 6:30pm on site at Leavitt Middle School. \n\n\n\nSaturday 8:15 am – Judges Coffee (Most important!) \n\n\n\nWe will be providing a lunch for the judges (Please\, register online so we know how many to prepare for) \n\n\n\n\n\nTravel Information\n\n\n\nSouthwest Airlines provides an inexpensive fare to and from Vegas and allows you to bring your sparring bag for free. The Hotel is a 20 minute drive from the airport \n\n\n\nThe Venue is a 5 minute drive from the hotel. We can provide transport.  \n\n\n\n\n\nLodging Information\n\n\n\nWhen you call\, ask for the “Lone Mountain Taekwondo Block Rate” to get a discount. \n\n\n\nThe Santa Fe Hotel and Casino \n\n\n\n-Inside the hotel is a 12 plex movie theatre\, a bowling alley\, Fast food court\, gambling tables\, several restaurants\, a lounge\, a small showroom with local shows\, and an outdoor pool. \n\n\n\nThe Hotel number is 702 658 4900. The cutoff date for making group reservations under the school name is August 17th. \n\n\n\nThe Hampton Inn \n\n\n\n-It Offers free breakfast and has an outdoor pool. There are no gambling opportunities on the hotel site. \n\n\n\nIt is a 10 minutes drive from the venue and LMTKD. \n\n\n\nThe Hotel Number is 702 360 5700. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTournament Weekend\n\n\n\n\nAugust 25th\n\n\n\n-Competitors and guests can see the venue. If we have the competitor cards ready by that time you can pick up your cards at will call. \n\n\n\n-6:30 PM there will be a practice class for judges and referees.  This is a good opportunity for young judges\, or black belts who have not judged in a tournament before to get practice without it affecting any competitor’s outcome.   \n\n\n\nMaster Langdon will address questions and scenarios on site.  This will also provide the opportunity for everyone to familiarize yourselves with the location and layout of our event.  There will be signs to assist in locating the venue easily.  \n\n\n\n\n\nAugust 26th\n\n\n\n8:00-Will call will be available. Competitor cards and spectator badges will be available at that time.  \n\n\n\n9:00-The tournament \n\n\n\n-Spectator fees for this event will be $10 per person if purchased ahead and $15 on site\, kids 4 and under are free.  \n\n\n\n– Staging schedules will be available at the door \n\n\n\n-A Catered Lunch will be available for purchase on site. \n\n\n\n\n\nAugust 27th\n\n\n\n11:30-classes taught by Masters of our organization.  \n\n\n\nThese will be held at Lone Mountain Martial Arts school.  \n\n\n\n11:30 am – Master Sean Dalton will be teaching a 1 and ½ hour class in Practical Poomsae.   \n\n\n\n1:00 pm – Mr. Leavitt will be teaching a class in Trauma informed martial arts.  \n\n\n\nCertification class in Trauma based martial arts instruction for instructors only Classes will be offered at $30 per person.
